Province of Bergamo's Sala Viterbi hosts, for the second consecutive year, TX Active-Bianchi MTB team presentation, on Thursday February 25th. Attended by many local authorities, managers and sponsors, the Bianchi mountain bike team is presented to the public and press.

Julio Caro (Col), Cristian Cominelli (Ita), Ricardo Marinheiro (Por), Leonardo Paez (Col) and Stephane Tempier (Fra) are ready to start the 2010 offroad season in the Under 23-Elite category under the guidance of Massimo Ghirotto,
while the junior team - presented in Bergamo by Team Manager Andrea Ferrero, features seven athletes: Cesare Fognini, Filippo Galli and Edoardo Togni (Junior), Federico Barri and Cristian Boffelli (15 year-old), Giorgio Rossi
and Oscar Vairetti (13 year-old).

For the 19th consecutive year Bianchi set up its own MTB and cyclo-cross team: an international line-up including 12 young, talented and passionate athletes. The same passion that ties to President Felice Gimondi's team an important
pool of sponsors, completely sharing the set of values the team is founded on.

While obviously focusing on chasing big results - the many victories achieved over the years are there to show it - TX Active-Bianchi team is mainly focused on favouring athletes' development in respect of education and environment. Team's drivers and values are the environmental sensibility and the passion to educate young athletes. The team's key-concept finds main sponsor TX Active by Italcementi fully involved. Team Manager Massimo Ghirotto feels confident looking forward to the new season: "We built up a competitive all-round team, that can play a part in both XCO and Marathon races, in particular with Paez and Caro. We are also expecting a lot from Cominelli, who won the Italian cyclo-cross Under23 National Championship for the second year
in a row, and from Portoguese Marinheiro and French Tempier. Above all, we believe in everyone's moral and human quality, apart from the physical and athletic ones".

TX Active-Bianchi team's social and educational aspects are a true priority even for President Felice Gimondi: "We are sure we can spread an important message towards the environmental protection through our activity, mainly taking
place in natural environments. We built up an excellent team, which is capable to achieve results in the most important international races, and I think the junior team has excellent chances as well. Soon after the presentation, the Under23 and Elite team moved to Terracina - Middle Italy to start the training camp up to next March 7th when they will take part at the first race of the 2010 MTB season: Internazionali d'Italia (round 1).
