TX Active-Bianchi is ready to leap into the new exciting 2010 MTB season this week-end as the Bianchi off-road team, sponsored by Italcementi, contests Round 1 of "Internazionali d'Italia" in Massa Marittima - Tuscany, on Sunday March 7.
After a strategic training-camp in Terracina, in the vicinity of Rome, the team managed by Massimo Ghirotto has reached today Massa Marittima where Saturday morning the riders will test the race's course. World top-class bikers are expected to take part in the Italian XCO event and the TX Active-Bianchi team will be looking for a good performance with a strong squad determined to be in the action, as they are used to do.

The TX Active-Bianchi international 5-man line-up includes Italian Champion Cristian Cominelli (winner of the Under 23 Internazionali d'Italia overal standing in 2009), French Stephane Tempier, Colombia's Julio Caro and National
Champion Leonardo Paez, winner of the Internazionali d'Italia Elite classification.

Also in the team is Ricardo Marinheiro from Portugal. The talented 19 year-old biker is excited about the idea of his first Under23-Elite race but is very happy with his condition: "On Sunday I will contest my first race with the Bianchi MTB team and that's fantastic". "My dream will come true as I will be in the action as part of one of the most legendary team in the sport", Marinheiro added. "I will ride my new Methanol SL Team Edition: I've used it at the training camp
and the feed back is extremely positive. I can't wait for the race to start!".
